Who's your favorite character in Practical Magic and why? I really love Aunt Frances, she completely accepts who she is and everything that comes with being a member of the Owens family. She's a very realistic and honest person, and very funny as well.
Which character do you relate to the most?
I really relate to Sally and Gillian, actually. I definately grieve big when I end up losing someone, like Sally when Michael died. I'm big into loving someone with my entire heart. Like Gillian, my philosophy is "What wouldn't I do, for the right guy?" I'm not a big mess with relationships like Gillian is, but I am sort of a free spirit like she is. Like Sally, I wouldn't be dancing naked under the full moon at the Solstice Festival, but I am like Gillian in that I accept that I'm not normal like everyone else and I can't change who I am just to try to have a convential life. "We're never going to be normal...because we're different!"
What's your favorite scene? I have a few. I really love the scene where Sally casts the Amas Veritas spell in the beginning, and I love when we are shown the petals from Sally's spell fall on top of Hallet sittin on his pony backwards as a child. I also like the scene where Sally and Gilly fight and they break the bowl, and of course the scene in the garden where Gilly talks about the right guy. And, I love when they jump off the roof at the end as well.
Which do you prefer - book or movie? Movie. But I have read the book as well.
